hello, i recently bought a 4750 athlon machine and im having some perplexing problems with it. ive narrowed the problem down to be something to do with the amd cool and quiet driver. basically, when i have the cool and quiet driver installed, and i try and play audio at full volume into speakers, the system locks up immediately. if i uninstall the driver, this problem is completely non-existent. i returned the laptop to sager and they built me a new one, as they were not able to figure out the problem, but my new system is having the same exact problem as the previous one. as the chances of me getting two faulty systems in a row are slim, it would seem that this is a fundamental problem with the 4750. the weird thing is that sager claims that no one has reported problems similar to this. if anyone else here has heard of or experienced a similar problem, please let me know (or if youve never tried playing your audio out of speakers or a mixer at full internal volume, try it and tell me if it works or not). also, if anyone has any ideas of any solutions i could try, PLEASE help me out. this is basically rendering my system useless, as i bought it specifically for audio processing.
