i think AW is doing their job, and Aurora is certainy trying his best for you, the least people could do is shoe some respect towards the mods, they do alot to try to help us out and the work damn hard for the members.
Does it suck that your lappy was lost in transit either to AW or back from them, no matter what it is not great, is it AW's fault no, its fedex who is to blame. This really should be a fedex sucks thread, not a bash of AW for all that they have done for you. I am sorry your system was gone for such a long time, but things take time to sort out when a courier loses stuff. No business in the world would out of their own pocket replace such a high end computer without firts going through due process of finding out exactly what happened to the one they already made for you. It would be stupid of them to make one, ship it to you, and when the frist one is lost then make another and ship it to you, and just hope that the chance of your orriginal one being found does not come through. Because then they are out the $$$ that it cost to build you another and have nothing to show for it.
Sorry man, but you are asking alot if you wanted AW to just give you another system indefinately and keep on doing it for every system that somehow got lost, what if the next one got lost, or the one after that....how far do you expect them to go....and what if fedex lost more than just your system, would AW have to go to that length for everyone, it is rediculous to think they are going to go to that length. There is not a company out there that would.
AW has been more than reasonable, they have had a customer service person in contact with you and have done alot of work to resolve this unfortunate situation. I don't work for AW, i have some sympathy for you situation but likewise i think AW has made a good effort to help you.
