is it true the new model 3600 will come out at april 18 2005 cause i am thinking of getting a 3400 now please reply, cause i don't to wait 2 month for nothing

Well for some more real info on upcoming notebooks you sould wait for CeBIT in 10 - 16 March. http://www.cebit.de Should be very interesting. Do an exhibitor search, try Acer, Arima etc, you should find many manufacturers exhibiting new and upcoming notebooks.

Aye. Sorry to the original poster. I couldn't resist. I'm sure there will be a new Acer Ferrari in the future, but the specific post you referred to, unfortunately, was not it.

Yes, there will be a new Acer Ferrari model for sure. I heard it directly from an Acer sales representative, but the only details I managed to get out of him were that it will get a new design & chassis, upgraded cpu & chipset, LCD screen, etc, but not when it's going to be launched. April 18 at the earliest I think, and available for sale by May I guess.

I hope the new chassis has better cooling. A widescreen Ferrari would be nice. Hopefully a diffrent color instead of red. I'd prefer black or white.

yeah, but sticking with the "ferrari" name they'd probably stick with the flashy red colory, i'm with you on the widescreen, though
