Is there something you want to see in the BIOS mikemex?

It's just that I heard somewhere that the new dells use an upgraded phoenix BIOS that isn't that propietary. You can boot from devices like superdisks (120/240 MB), USB external CD drives, etc.

Nothing special, just curiosity.

I can confirm that it will boot from USB via a USB floppy drive (non-Dell).

just thought that maybe the 90W charger is just be for the increased power needed for the docking station (i know the advanced port replicator comes with that one), i don't know if it would actually charge it faster.

about the static through the headphone jack, i doubt it is similar to the carbon, i have the carbon and that was an issue with certain headphones and a metal base, which was resolved in later editions of the carbon through an internal fix

I just bought the d610, and plan on buying the smallest usb sound adapter i can find so i can enjoy my music

I have to choose between XGA and SXGA+ (14,1").

SXGA+ seems to be too small for this size.

Any advice is welcomed.

Thanks in advance.

SXGA+ is perfect for the 14" size screen IMO. I saw an XGA 600m and I couldn't stand how it looked. Too large of a resolution for me.

Has anybody with a D610 been able to install v3100 fireGL drivers from an M20 yet?

Scipio ? ^^ anyone? a couple of you guys earlier in this thread sounded like you were going to try it and I'm most interested as to whether you can just flash with m20 bios and install V3100 certified drivers
