For those who have a 8790:

Have you ever tried to use the 5.1 sound configration ??

I got that 5.1 Zalman headphones and I`ve been toying with the sound configuration for a while. There are some really WEIRD stuff:

1. When I configure it to 5.1, the volume in the FRONT go crazily high. To keep it in level with the others (center and rear) I have to keep it close to zero in the Windows volume control. Does everybody have this "quirk" with the sound system? Is that a problem ??
2. The CENTER and REAR, even at full volume, give quite low sound.. Is that how 5.1 sound is supposed to be or I have some weirdly defective sound card ?
3. The least weird (because it can be a simple driver problem...) is that some games (specifically DemonStone and Baldur`s Gate II) the front channel is put back to what should be its normal sound level, and thus to hear I have to put the volume up again.. In other games (like QuakeIII or Doom III) the front still has the ultra-high volume...

So, has anyone tried such sound configuration ? How was it ??
