my co worker has one of those lappie mouse from micrsoft w/ usb connector(one that flips) w/ one battery(I am sure you guys know what I am talking about.

I use cord based MICROSOFT 5 BUTTON INTELLIMOUSE OPTICAL PS2/USB BulkPack.
I love my mouse as I can't live w/out foward/backward browser capability w/ 5 mouse.

My question is, how come microsoft is not making mouse w/ 5 button for lappie?
Also, when are they gonna make smaller usb plugin for cordless. Better yet, how come lappie do not already come w/ ability to talk to mouse??

I like my buttons on my mouse too. Though I think putting 5 buttons on a mouse may be hard, since you still gotta grasp the things without pressing a button somehow.

Wireless USB isn't a standard between companies (at least for connecting to a mouse) I would think they all use different frequencies and stuff. Bluetooth however is a standard, you could get that integrated into your lappy and get a bluetooth mouse. No adapters or such.

i dont know. maybe it's just me who like 5 buttons.

I do tremendous amount of surfing and I cannot imagine people not finding benefit..

Is it just me who finds this kind of thing "good thing"?
I dont' know why they are not making it... for just size issue? damn. it's a shame

700m. unfortunately do not have built in blue tooth. so if i get some kind of card for it. i guess it defeates the purpose...
