Now the Space Black is no longer on the website, and nothing has changed for a long time. Is this product being phased out?

Could use a more modern lappie to come in, I wonder why the Sentia aint offered in Conspiracy Blue would look one mean machine and would likely sell more to the college crew.

Ya I think they need to bring it back with the x7 or x7 as well.

A sentia with the new Alviso chipset would be nice, along with a real graphic card.

we still have the black one in the UK

Personally I think it's an awsome machine and shouldn't be phased out, it's small, light, amazing screen and VERY portable. If anything they should think about revamping the 5500 or I'd REALLY like the 7700 with a real Alienware case rather than a Sagem notebook with an AW lid. I still love it, just disappointed it isn't as unique as it could be.

That mirrors my own thoughts, as expressed in the Alienware general folder. The real lack for AW is another centrino notebook in between the Sentia and the 7700.

As to phasing out the Sentia, absolutely not!!! Although having it use the Alviso chipset (and hence use GMA900 instead of IIG2 for the graphics would also be nice).
