hello

I have a sager 8887 that i am installing mandrake 10 on my seccond hard drive. It doesn't like the lilo bootloader I tried to install (freezes up everytime I get to it) Windows is on my primary drive and I want to partition the drive so its 20GB linux 40GB windows on the seccond drive. that has alreasdy been done i now just need to be able too boot into windows is there any windows installable bootloaders that would allow me to access my linux partition.

thanks in advance

if lilo fails, grub comes in

GRUB, look at mandrake control center at the boot section for settings for the boot loader. try GRUB

When you say it freezes, what freezes? The linux boot or the windows or does lilo crap out. I'd say GRUB is the way to go though.

maybe you're having the same problem i have under vlos and mepis on my laptop. whenever i try to boot (In linux only, no prob when boot to windows) it will freeze if my mouse (or most any usb device) is plugged in, if i connect it after the first few seconds of the boot-up sequence, it works fine though
