BAD crashes with my 8790.

Ok some bad news.. Ive had my laptop for about a month now, been working absolutely perfectly.. Today i installed Port Royal and was playing to game and my notebook BSD'd. Ok so i tried to reboot and i got nothing.. no post screen, no windows loading, nothing.. just a black screen. I disconnected the battery and power cord and reconnected them, then restarted, and still nothing. Well i let the thing sit for a while and started it again, and lucky for me it started up.. Then after about 30 seconds it crashed again with a BSD and shutdown. Well, after about an hour of trying to get it to even POST and boot again i managed to get into safe mode and run system restore back to before i had port royal on there, so i did, and then i tested it on games i have been playing for months now, and after about 20 mins the game crashed hard. And now my notebook isnt booting again. I dont know what to do really, Im over here in Iraq att he moment so RMA isnt an option untill i get back.. Any suggestions?

Ok a few other bits of info, one of the BSD errors is;

IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL

STOP 0x0000000A

and the other one i saw is;

BAD POOL HEADER

STOP 0x00000019

Well, hope that helps someone who can help me. I am pretty good when it comes to tech things but really right now I have limited resources on what i can do, not being in the USA and not being able to really call anyone. Anyway thanks again to whomever may reply to this.

Try getting your hands on MEMTEST86 and run a full memory test on the unit (Minus the all night test - that is).

Thats the funny thing, I ran the memory test and came up with no errors. However i did discover an interesting thing. Each of the ram sticks works independently, and i can boot fine, however when i try to put them both in i get BSD and sometimes no POST at all.

I am running a 512 MB DDR 400 Kingmax stick, and a 1 GIG DDR 400 Kingmax stick. I always suspected maybe with the whole (Dual Channel?) mode it wouldnt like me having differrent sized sticks in the slots, however they are both the same brand and speed, and I have done this before with desktops. Another interesting thing is what triggered the problem now, after it working absolutely wonderful for a little over a month.

I am perplexed, that is for sure.

Anyway ill go fiddle with it some more. If not i will have to wait untill i get back to the USA in April or so to RMA the unit.
