Each of the 2 laptops my company bought do this. When you press an action button, it turns from it's normal icon to a checkered distortion, instead of being slightly highlited. I've got the 6800 rev 2 cards. Running the 71.50 drivers right now, it did the same thing with the 71.25 drivers.
