Random Hibernation?

Lately it seems like my 51m ( i supose its the 5500, or the original replacable graphics model) to randomly go into hibernaiton, and not go into hibernaiton when I want it to. When using it some times it just goes into hiber nation on me. Most of the time it happens when I move it or adjust the screen. Other times I'll close the lid wanting it to go into hibernaiton, and it never does. It doesn't happen all the time, but enough now and then to get anoying. Has anyone else had this problem?

Check your power management settings...sometimes windows resets them without sending you a memo. My wife's i5100 does it all the time.

The problem is with the switch under the lcd. It wears out after a while and seems to become random. A temporary fix is to set your power management to NOT go into standby when closing the monitor. It's a known issue with the 5500 (I have one too that I just sold) and is covered under your warranty. I know your frustration, it gets so sensitive that the slightest touch can set it off.
