I requested the original from my vendor.
contains Flash.exe, FP.exe and M37EW206.BIN.

Burned these three onto a Boot CD and flashed the bios, that was it.
Now the attitudes and the behavior of my Notebook are
ok again

Send it to me, please

Hi, could you send me the BIOS file that your vendor sent you, please?

I wanna make a comparison between the file you have and the Sager's one.

My mail is: mranonym[at]gmail.com - Change [at] with @

Please send me all the files you have used to flash the BIOS (the ones you burnt).

Thanks in advance.

Could you tell us your laptop specs and brandname (because the BIOS you asked your vendor to give you is different from the ones that I'm hosting: Sager one's).
It would be interesting to know if you've ever had any kind of wireless issue (disconnections or speed issues) and video issues (when playing a video, sometimes (more or less, once per 20 minutes) the video freezes, about 1/2-1 sec, but the sound doesn't).

Thanks in advance for the info and the BIOS

yes, my laptop is a clevo m37ew
what kind of specs do you need ?
where can I find that brandname you want to know ?

17 mhz centrino
wxga screen
1024 ram
80 gb harddisc

wireless connection seems to be ok so far, video issues...
I can remember video issues like your description

With brandname I meant the name of the vendor; because Clevo is the manufacturer but there are a lot of vendors like Sager, Clevo itself,...
If your laptop has been sold to you as a Clevo, than it's a Clevo and the BIOS that has been given to you comes from Clevo directly. (As i Said yesterday, I tested the BIOS was given to you and the Sager's one, and they are different; so this makes some sense...)
I asked the specs to see if you had something strange because of the missing bios setting.

I'll try your BIOS file tonight

Could you try asking your vendor for a newer BIOS version? (Because the latest version that Sager relased was 2.07, and I would to test this one with the Clevo's one, 2.07)

PS: I'm starting to think that I have a problem with the laptop and the video playback issue... because Sager techs suggested me to power off the wireless card with the front button, and video playback issue was solved (but I didn't have Internet...)

one more question: is your clevo a european one? i flashed mine with the sager bios and now my fn and strg keys are mixed up.

on the keyboard my fn key is the first from the left side and then there is the strg-key. is it the same on your clevo?

thanks for the info
