Problem Shutting Down Acer Ferrari 3400

To all you computer gurus out there. My 3400 used take less than 5 secs to to shut down, but now, it takes aleast 1 min or so to do it. I did a complete system virus and adware scan, but nothing was found. The starting time is still fast, its just the shutting down that is killing me. HELP!!!!!!!

Something has loaded at startup. Go to MSCONFIG and uncheck all Startup Programs and then see if your shutdown is faster. If so then go back to MSCONFIG and add a program at a time to see which one is causing the problem. Go to Start/RUN and type in MSCONFIG and click OK Click on Startup.
