Chances are you'll get the help you need from Richard and we'll never see or hear from you again.
What irks us all as members and mods is when people use this forum for their own agendas without any sincerity in giving back to the very place that helped them in the first place.
I'd love to be wrong about your intentions since joining Notebookforums, but we see it all the time and those people whom I speak of never take part in a civilized manner and help grow our forums...they use, abuse and never come back.
This is not the Better Business Bureau...I'd hope you don't plan on using it like one.
I hear your comment about spamming. I emailed someone (? - don't remember who, but another forum member told me not to post in multiple places) and I apologized and asked for them to be merged/deleted.
I was frustrated. I'm not sure what "using" the forum means .... if I had come praising Alienware would that be "using" the forum? Am I only getting this response because I had a beef (minus the 3 posts - I grant that was excessive and apologize again) ?
I don't want to tit-for-tat. I came with an honest story (I realize that you have never heard of me before.... and I don't mind people questioning it in practical fashion - but I would like heard).
I think my original post was fairly civilized; especially given that I have emailed/conversed with Alienware numerous times trying to resolve the issue - this amounted to another venue to try and be heard.
I have no problem following through - if this is resolved in the professional manner mentioned, I will post that - it is, what I hope for..... I am frustrated and believe I have a right to be by the treatment I've received - I'm sorry if that doesn't "gel" with your perception of Alienware - I never tried to make the claim that this is how they treat all their customers.
Am I stressed about it ? Sure, some. $3600 is a lot of money to spend and then have such an issue arise.
The only comment I remember making in anger that is unfair was saying they might delete records - that was unfair since it assumes wrongdoing.... and Aurora pointed that out.
So, hope that clears some of it up. My original post doesn't rant. It doesn't call names. It has no capital letters and shouting. It relates what I see as the facts. It can be challenged by Alienware if they so choose - although I have tried to carefully stick to what transpired in the hopes someone higher up in Alienware will check the transcripts (?) of the phone call/conversations in the hopes the tech noted my issue (which I asked at the time it was broken).
It does make me wonder if this would have been an issue if I had come here with praise.... instead of critique.
