My D610 is still "In Production". It hasn't even passed the kitting stage, and they expect to ship it by this Friday. I don't think that they will finish boxing before then.

My d610, ordered on the 15th, is in the kitting stage! Think it might ship before the stated 03/02 date?

my order came with estimate ship date of march 7th. looks like it gonna ship way early!

If it has a check mark by the process does that mean it's completed? My 9200 went into production on the 21st and it has check marks besides kitting, building and testing already. Seems quick to me.

Mine's in boxing stage for 3rd day now. According to Dell's FAQ, it should ship today.

on the way

shipped on 21st

be here by 3rd March latest (Canadian cross border delay)

Where do i get benchmarking software from?

I would be really interested (just for geekiness) to compare other peoples 7200rpm drive to my 5400 momentus

And can anyone recommend a good newish released game?

Older ones I really enjoyed were:

Call of duty
Knights of old republic

anything above and beyond a 32mb card of my old c640 I have not tried out

thanks

mac640, how long did yours remain in boxing stage for? i called customer care, they said mine won't ship till friday. that's 5 days of boxing????? tad too long for that.
Well, the stage that Dell calls "boxing" is really when they ship the computer from their manufacturing facilities in Malaysia to Texas. This stage takes, I believe, 3-5 days. So it's not like they're just sitting there at the factory while some guy with one hand tries to tape your box closed for a week :-p

I know that, duh... when I ordered 8600, it were in boxing only for 2 days and shipped immediately. Thats why I asked mac640 how long his were in boxing for.

wooo mine shipped!!! Ship Date: 2/23/05 and theres a link to purolator so it's on it's way to them. Nothing on their website yet, but maybe it'll be here by friday!!! that would kick so much ass!
