Is this Dell's way of making sure you never forget that your M70 notebook is a Precision!?

It could be just written on the plastic cover protector that they put on the top of the lcd. Although the writing is also on this picture:

Heh, that's funny. I hope that comes off. That is one sturdy looking laptop though.

That looks just like the thin metal shield that is on the front of my Precision desktop systems. If it is the same it is a thin sheet of aluminum with "precision" etched into it.

I am sitting here at work and my day counterpart has an M60 in his desk that he pretends to know what he is doing with. It has a plastic cover on it as well with no writing on it, I think it might be the plastic cover....I will soon know though......1 week!!!!

The LCD cover on the M60 is Magnesium allow, it isn't plastic. I am familiar with the M60 (I am currently typing this on my M60) however I think this change on the M70 may be to make it lok more like the Desktop Precisions.

NoNo, not the cover of the computer. This has a cover like a roll of clear shipping tape. Not the cover of the confuser itself....lol
