For all you worried about ordering from Alien...as I was, stop worrying.
I writing this on my new Sentia, wirelessely connected to my home network. Keyboard works fine, screen is epic (one dead pixel at farthest possible edge), wireless card is clipping along (even connected at work, surpising my IT guys cause the transmitter is one floor down).
The machine came a couple days later than would be expected from the "estimated ship date", but no big deal. Thing was packaged better than most nuclear warheads....nice documentation, but not as customized as I would have expected. I probably will need to update the drivers, as they all appeared to have been done in Nov (probably the last time they benchmarked them for this machine..).
Anyway, I panicked originally when it was unclear how late the machine would be, so now it is time for an actual review.
I was very concerned when I read many of the negative feedbacks here, but I can say that my experience has been excellent.
So I guess I am one of the 5,995 satistfied customers each month that buy from Alienware, the other five just seem to post a lot.......
