Intel® Pentium® 4 Processor w/ HT Technology Extreme Edition 3.73GHz 1066MHz FSB 2MB Cache - Blistering Speed! - Intel® Extended Memory 64 Technology
Alienware is offering it, on their desktops but not dell yet.
I wonder when there maybe a Extended Memory 64 Technology processor available for laptops, does anyone have any idea/insight about this? Dell laptops that is...

I really don't think that Dell's next flagship notebook will have a Desktop processor in it. Eventually Intel will make some 64-bit mobile chips.

Right I realize that, I was just wondering/hoping that a somewhat equivalent mobile processor will be released for the next gen notebooks.... Time will tell...

This chip will only work in the 925 desktop chipsets currently while the 6xx P4s have been tested to work in the 915 notebook chipsets of Sagers, the new EE did not according to Hypersonic. As such they will not work in the current Dell P4 laptops and as it is unlikely we will see a new Dell P4 laptop soon, we probably will not see this processor in a dell.

Cheers

And dell is already selling it for their desktops too.
