Sarcasm aside, WHEN would the 9300 be available?? I am gone for the summer so whatever I do it woul have to be before then....

BTE, I hate Wagner. You sat through one of those? I sing Puccini and Verdi....

Hey, my machine plays Flight of the Bumblebee all the time. 9300 should be available in the US in March. Or you can pick one up during a European singing gig.

Oops, I mean Ride of the Valkyries.

I will order in March. I can tell ya where one of my checks will go. I just which the f%$%%$#%$!! XPS2 didn't have the stupid lights... The right specs but it looks too gamerish for my tastes... The specs are to die for though...

You can turn off the lights, jeez. Or change the color.

It's the XPS printed on the sides of the LCD panel on the back. I prefer nothing there. I like classic (pardon the pun) styling...

Hey man, I play the saxophone, classically trained for 10 years, can you get me a job? 350k, jeez! LOL!!!

The LCS cover on the XPS2 is an optional accessory, I think that underneath it may just be a plain cover, similar to the 92/9300's.

Also, you seriously have to look into working your income a bit harder. If I were making 350k a year in Aus, I would be paying very little tax... Two words... Negative Gearing. Buy a couple of houses and get into some debt, you can write off the depreciations as taxable expenses and live like a king while on paper making not much. No one in their right mind making that money pays tax, champ. Believe me... If you need more info get in touch with me or a good accountant. Don't let your wife do the books, you're just asking for trouble.

People need to be educated...

You obviously haven't heard about Operamans relationship with his wife ...If she wants to do the books, she does the books

Cheers

Hey now.... I thought this thread died... I think I deserve some good rep points for all the abuse I am taking here.... Seriously though, I went with the 9300 based on this thread so you guys won... Anyways, good to be part of the forum. I figured if ya hated me ya'd just ignore me right?

This really sounds like sour grapes... Repeat after me: new technology is always right around the corner. Feel better now?

"Perhaps if" (which has never happened yet with Dell) the XPS is shipped on time, some will start seeing them in a couple months.
The i9300?
First they need to figure out the XPS.
Figure soonest in homes around May for the i9300.

In 6 months, when the i9300 starts showing up bug free in customers homes, and deals start showing up, it "might" be a good time to get one even if you already have the i9200.

But for now, the i9200 is the only game in town.

I sure am glad I didn't return mine and be without for 4 or 5 months.
Let the first runs get returned, and the bugs worked out, then I'm sold.
Those that waited will not be in for a let down, as it will be great.
But, we do have great now. In 6 months just not as great...
