FYI Just got off the phone with a helpful rep at Dell.ca who said the XPS2 is to be released tomorrow in Canada. He said he doesn't know about the 9300.
Just bought one today. The special was upgrade memory to 1G and a 256 mb card. The overalll price was the same as a m70 and 9200 Dell had spec'd for me. My sales rep was particularly helpful and upgraded me to a DVD burner instead of the 256 mb card. Looking forward to a new system. My old one is a.. ahem.. Celeron 600 on an old Abit BH6 motherboard which I bought over 6 years ago in med school!
My rep said 2 weeks. It's not official on the website yet, but as soon I can check it I'll let you know. My machine worked out to $3258 before taxes but that's $2700 US so I figured that's a pretty decent price.
