I dont suppose anyone has run this yet?
The A13F is supposed to be the PRO chip which is what is pictured there...

I'll try and run that Bratag.
*edit* didn't tell me much at all and the program appears to be dated May 03.

Thx for the great support Adam! More sustomer service places need to be like you!

Anyway guys, i think the low clock are becuase of this:

POWER-ON-DEMAND – constantly monitors system activity, dynamically adjusting clocks and voltage based on user scenario
http://www.ati.com/products/mobility.../features.html

I think in the end, Direwolf just caught the system when it didnt need 3d power..

Adam, does it have the fancy memory mentioned in previous posts as well?
Well, in the Pic, you can make out 3.3ns ram (bottom left), so it cant be bad (that is what some 9700 Pros had)..
Sorry divine, I dont have the 5200ultra my bro does but it DOES show you different clocks. It has a 2d clock/memory score and above that the 3d one.

But what I cant understand if the memory's 3.3ms and its clocked so low.

50mhz is a big difference for the 5680 when running games at native resolution.
I agree! but im thinking its just a power-saving feature, not a cheat..
well how in the shiznits do you turn the power saving feature off? LOL

I mean I dont recall remembering this being a mobile laptop made for 8 hours on the go
post #49 of 82
Why would you want to? As long as games ramp it up, might as well save the power (and heat)!
Because for a gamer, Faster=better

your need every damn bit of your fps in Doom III and games based on the engine

you spent your money for the speed why not get all of it lol
post #51 of 82
Given the info Adam's posted, I went ahead and pulled the trigger on my 5680.

Thanks, Adam!

Now, since you're done with this thread and obviously have some time on your hands, could you please bend the laws of physics and get my notebook delivered this evening? Much appreciated.
hehe.. we agree though! Whati am saying is, is that when you game, you do have the speed. Only in desktop mode does it clock down. the best of both worlds.
well we dont know that yet till you get your laptop and test out the clocks in 2d/3d because nobody else will be doing that anytime soon
post #54 of 82
That is assuming i ever get mine....

Did you pay via credit card? If so get the CC company to cancel the charge and order from someone else.
