Hi guys

Does any of you have opened the laptop to see the fan

I am trying to find a way to make the fan quieter

Sory for my bad English

hi nasos

i am from greece too. I suppose you bought the Plaisio badged
laptop of Clevo I have a Clevo too, and its fan is annoying.
I have already posted a question about this 'issue', but it seems
that noone exists with a workaround to this problem, because i got no reply.
I guess that we have to stand this noise . . .

what would be handy , is if there was an utility in which we could adjust
fan speed. So if we set a lower fan speed, and set it to 'continuous' option,
perhaps we could achieve an average temperature of 50-55 degrees with less noise, while doing office applications only of course.
Currently, it gets 46 degrees with continuous full fan speed.

But i doubt that there is an option to adjust the fan speed in this bios....

You can try and work with the fellow that makes speedfan to add support

yes i can...if i put a rheostat and lower its RPM

try the new fan program discussed in the mobmeter alternative thread and find a fan speed that is satisfactory for you.
