Upgrading aftermarket ram void xps2 warrenty?

I placed my order last night for the new xps2 which I have been waiting for FOREVER, but may change my order over this question.

Does upgrading the ram through aftermarket companies void the warrenty?

If so, I rather just stay with the dell upgrade of 1 gig of memory in the machine. If not, I will not upgrade memory through dell, and go ahead and order a couple 1gig sticks from newegg.

No, but if you're having problems that might be RAM related they will have you put your initial Dell purchased ram back in for troubleshooting. If the problem that your having does not seem to be RAM related then they do not have to know that your using other RAM.
I purchased Dell RAM because I don't want to worry about it. I've had RAM replacements from Dell in the past.

Whats a good aftermarket choice of ram for the XPS Gen2? What do I look for as to whats compatable? I would also like to get something better or cheaper then what dell is offering from newegg if I can.
