My wireless connection for my brand new 4750 is very poor. the other machines in the house have no problem. even right next to the router ( linksys WRT54G ) has no problem.

In device mgr, it just shows the adapter as "802.11g MiniPCI Wireless Network Adapter"
Driver details: 802.11 Wireless, version 2.2.8.0 , 9/9
the file is: M2500.sys 9/9/2004

The only clue I have is the copyright: Ralink Technology Inc.

I think I need a new driver - the connection sucks and keeps dropping ....

I think the MSI MiniPCI 802.11g card is bad ....
all the other laptops have excellent connections ...

i am having the exact same problem with mine also.. i updated, still very horrid signal, if it even stays connected at all. pcmcia card works like a charm also, but this card does NOT like to connect at all

I've been having the same problem. Got sent a new wireless card to install from Sager; however, before I did that, downloaded updated drivers from MSI. That didn't work. Realized then the actual manufacturer of the card is Ralink Technologies. Went to their site http://www.ralinktech.com/supp-1.htm and downloaded the newest 3.0.2.0 driver. My card works like a charm ... seems the on off on off on off on off connection is now fixed ... stays on with good signal now. May still install the new card Sager sent me though.
