There is simple list of steps you should take to remedy this problem DB.

1). Pack ALX for shipping
2). Locate a hammer
3). Use hammer on old RAM
4). Ship ALX to Wooster

That should fix any problems you have.

This can be easily fixed with a socket converter. Just be sure that your old SIMM can be overclocked to 200MHz or whatever speed you are running your current DIMMs.

WOW that takes me back, I remember being able to stack to 4mb 30 pin simms into a socket convertor that adapted them to a 72pinn module. My dark days as a retail PC tech.

Yeah, I am a sick bastard.

It would be fun to see how many converters you could stack on one another without hurting yourself.

Aw, shucks, Darth,

Just get yourself a ball peen hammer, hold the SIMM over the DIMM slot in your ALX with one hand and with the other hand pound it in there till it won't go in no more....

Then after you turn your ALX back on (I did tell ya to turn the dang thing off first, didn't I?) call up Melvin at AW and see if he'll be real nice and replace your motherboard under warranty.

Sincerely Yours,

I was going to say, "More room in their pants for a wallet". Yet "Small Floppies" works. You could also say "small hard drive", or "compensation for a small...". This of course is a work in progess, and I am open to any ideas...

I am located in Oregon gavis, and I work in Washington. I am coming to hunt you down to introduce you to my two friends, Duct Tape and Crisco.

So I have MicroPhallis. Big deal.

Shucks, I just remembered, Darth,

after you hammer in that SIMM you gotta cover the whole thing with an inch of Crisco and then wrap it real tight in duct tape, then turn your ALX back on...

Well let me guess you work in "Vancouver, Wa."??? I am typically the "Hunter", but for you I am willing to role play and be the "Hunted". So allow me to quote the very poplular phrase "Bring it!"

Thanks
Pete
