this may be a stupid question, but I'm not a stupid person and I can't figure this out for hte life of me. How do I disable the laptop speakers and use the desktop speakers?!?!

detailed as ya want I appreciate it.

You plug the speakers into the line out of the computer. The internal speakers will disable themselves when you do that.
