What about the heat issues. Do you find it a problem? DO you have a before/after temp for these drivers? Right now idle im usually at 38-40c, gaming im at 58-60c.

I dont know if i want my comp to be too hot.

I was getting better performance from the 75.90, personally.

OK, when i try to install these it keeps giving me an error saying "nvidia setup could not detect any drivers that are compatible with your hardware. Setup will now exit" Do any of you have any idea why it is doing that?

I can't install 75.90. Installation sez" cannot locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware."

Anyone have the same problem?

Another thing, my IDE controller is using PIO mode. I would rather have DMA. Anyone know how to switch to DMA???

If you got the drivers here
http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/
then you also need download the moddified *.inf in the next column and replace it with the extracted version. Also on the 75.90, delete the *.inf folder or the try icon and the overclock feature will not install. I not installing the 71.84 as the 75.90 perform so well.

I am also getting the not supported error for the 75.90. I will give the modified INF a go.. Is it the one where it says modified for laptops etc?

EDIT: Nevermind everything worked fine after I used the modified INF file and now everything is great. I got some good improvement over my generic Sager installed Driver. Cheers.

First, Download the driver from http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/ , then unzip it.
Second, Download the modified .ini file to the right of the driver download.
Third, replace the new .ini fil with the old .ini file in the 7590 Folder that was unzipped.
Fourth uninstall the old nvidia driver from Add or Remove Programs in the Control Panel.
Fifth, restart.
Sixth, Install the new Driver.
Seventh, Restart.
Now you should be ready to go.

Thank you.
