100 gig 7200 rpm hard drive in Dell ad for XPS Gen 2

I received a copy of PC Magazine dated March 22, 2005 and in the Dell ad they show the XPS Gen 2 with a 100 gig 7200 rpm hard drive.



It's not on the website, what gives?

It's not available yet, of course. Looks like I'll have to buy mine afterwards.

Doesn't the fact that the magazine is dated March 22nd kind of indicate to you this may be a future configuration option? At the moment there are several drives from a couple of manufacturers that are about to hit the market, but since they have not officially been released yet Dell cannot offer them for configuration can they. So hold your horses, once they are released it will become an option.

Hopefully it's not too much trouble to change my order to an 80gb 7200 rpm. 60 is just a little too small for me. Since my XPS 2 isn't going to ship until April, I doubt it will cause any more delays.
