Fed Ex says I should have mine on Saturday, but it's been sitting at the Fed Ex station in NC since last night...Their tracking system must not be live.

Anyone have success installing the omega drivers on the laptop? I can't get it to be recognized.

Edit: The stock drivers that come with the disk work (71.13) yet the new ones from Nvidia wont work for me (71.84). Very interesting.

You haven't read my thread huh? Omega drivers won't work because it is TOO old heehh

FYI...

The current OMEGA driver for nVidia is using a very old version of the nVidia driver. It is using Forceware 61.77, while the latest version from nVidia is 71.84. If you are planning to use a mod version of nVidia driver, you could use http://www.dhzeropoint.net/ which uses the 71.84 nVidia driver.

This "might" give you a little better performance in terms between the Omega Driver vs using DHZeroPoint, as the older driver from Omega might not have proper support for nVidia GO Geforce 6600.

By the way, they are working on a Tweak enhancement for the nVidia GO 6800 version as well

I figured that out myself but thanks for pointing it out. But my previous post also points out that the latest official forceware (71.84) do not support the 6600Go either. Or at least it didn't detect mine. I'll take a look at zero point but I know Omega has new drivers on the way and shall hold out for those more than likely.

I read some where the latest 71.84 had problems even with the desktop version cards. So not sure if they will be releasing a fix for it soon and if there are problem in the notebook realms.

I wish Fed Ex would hurry up and update their tracking info. There's no way that package has sat there for more than 24 hours doing nothing...
The last thing it says on my tracking page is "departed FedEx location" in Charlotte, NC on April second! I've read somewhere on this forum that that happens with ground shipments, though. I'll either get mine tomorrow (I suppose technically today, because it's 3am right now), or Thursday, depending on whether the e-mail FedEx sent me is correct or if their tracking website is correct. Like smilepak, I should have a review up by the weekend.
