I would strongly look at the Asus Z71V right now, between the two I would definitely go with the Z71V over the Z80K at the moment. Yeah, I now it's not AMD64, but none of us who have the Z80K can run a 64bit OS on it yet. That may change when Win64 is released, but Asus will not support it until that time, if they choose to support it at all. I made my purchase in January and chose what I felt was the best notebook for my situation and for the money at that time. If I had to choose now it'd be the Z71V. You should be able to get a decent configuration for under $1600. To me, the benefits of the newer technology in the Z71V outweigh the AMD64 of the Z80K. I'm not saying I don't like my Z80K (I do, a lot actually ), I'm just saying that at this very moment I'd go with something different.
