And the Lord said, "Let there be GAME!"

Here are various pictures of the XPS2 from the various reviews.

Firstly, the most boring ones from our friend Dell

MobileMag has this unique picture. I know, it's a 9300.

NVidia probably has the coolest picture.

Which button do you press to make her come out like that?

PCMag

Does the screen look murky and unevenly lit to you? It does to me.

Do these just snap on top of the existing cover? I hope they replace a part of the existing cover, otherwize, my "snap-on" is going for sale on eBay.

I think VooDoo is feeling some Envy now!

That's just Wrong. Sad.

It could be that PC mag got their hands on a beta model before the TrueLife screen was introduced.
In this picture it looks much more clear.

Maybe I am just being overly optimistic, but those first screens do not look like a glossy finish more like a matte.

Thanks for the nice pic collection. I was starting to collect these for a collage for my desktop while I wait. You saved me time from hunting these down.

Edit: On second look the picture that streight on does look glossy there are a few reflections in it. The pic from 45 degrees does not have any reflections that I can see. Oh well. As long as it doesnt sparkel horribly Ill be happy.

The second picture has a reflection of the keyboard. And you can see a line reflected by the Windows XP Icon.

Looking at the first picture, I can see reflections of the room the laptop was photographed in. That screen looks like the 700m finish to me (I just looked at that today over at my college bookstore). Definitely not like the 600m screen my roommate has. I like the 700m finish better, it's more like a CRT.

God damn that laptop rules.

I don't like all of the bling though and it's going to cost an arm and a leg.

me likes the leds inside. hmmm... maybe it would look nice on my 6000, hell maybe even on my 700m.

those internal lcd lights are killing the battery..

LED's draw very little power, however you can set them not to come on at all. It's the cpu and the video card that suck all the power.

Who cares it look absolutly awsome

No way
The LEDS running wont even touch the battery.
I had a 4000 MCD led running on a D battery for 8 months non stop.
So I imagin that the LEDs in the laptop are brighter, but still, they draw such little current were talking like seconds off battery time.....
