the Clevo d900t is sold by resellers such as Sager (9860), Alienware area51m, and Hypersonic EX7

Also, EuroComm D900 Phantom...

You could check with places that offer barebone. I haven't seen it or notice of places that offer this particular model in barebone though.

random question: Why don't you want to go through a reseller?
I guess he doesn't want to pay for the additional cost between the middle man. In either case you ahve to go through reseller, whether it is barebone or full flag system. The manufactures don't sell to individual directly. They sell to a main distributor and reseller buy from them.

Usually there is at least 3 level or more before it hit consumers.

You can by direct from Sager. However some Sager resellers such as PCTorque can be cheaper than buying from Sager. You can perhaps buy from Clevo if you want to buy 10,000 units.

I don't think Clevo sells and AMD64 PCIE notebooks at the moment... and you don't have to get AW prices! Configure a AW 7700, and then a Sager 9860 over at PCTorque and check out the price difference. They are the exact same notebook.

Clevo don't sell direct. Even here in Australia, where it is possible to buy Clevo branded laptops, you have to use a reseller.

AW are ripoffs, and even direct from Sager is more expensive than buying from our good hosts here at PCTorque. They have the cheapest prices I've seen and pay for this bandwidth. Use them.

Cheers

Steve

The Clevo isn't AMD64. It is Pentium 4 HT and recently the Pentium 64bit.

You don't have to by AW. PCTorque sells them as well as at least a dozen others. I updated the sticky yesterday, look at it for the list.
