Free Dell 1800FP with M60 Purchase

I was just configuring a M60 (again) and noticed this...

FREE WITH M60 PURCHASE! Dell UltraSharp; 1800FP (18.1 VIS) LCD monitor

I don't remember that being there before and it wasn't checked by default, very sneaky by Dell. Most would not even look at the monitor section when configing a laptop. They also have free Office XP Small Business right now. I'll use the two like a rebate. Once I get them, sell the LCD and Office on ebay to get a little money back.

I had some trouble financing through Small Business a couple weeks back, shouldn't have that problem this time since I'm just buying it outright.

Although the 1800FP makes the M60 a sweeter deal, you pay big bucks for the quadro & workstation classification. The D800 is the best bargain when you stack a few coupons.

I had a 10% off which got me also $400 off the price so that was nice. I do agree at base the D800 is probably a better deal espcially if you don't need the Quadro. With the lcd and small business though it's like I'm getting another $500-600 rebate since that's about what I'll get off ebay for the pair sold separately.

Also, the 7200rpm drive was important to me and now instead of buying it separate I have it under my Dell warranty.

FYI, another thing I discovered last night when ordering. Dell charges $249 for the docking station if you purchase it with the M60. They charge $199 if you order it separately. Also, there was a 10% sale on that sort of stuff at home and office so instead of $249, my final cost was $179 shipped for free.
