Floppy screen

Thread Starter
I am new to this Notebook Forum and have a question about the screen on my Toshiba 1415 S105. I seems to be getting looser and looser as I open it up. Just started to do this within the last month. Is there some way to tighten up the screen or what needs to be done. Thanks, Jason

the Hinges in your screen are loose / worn out, best bet is to take it into an agent and buy new hinges if you want to keep the laptop

My Toshiba is getting floppy too. It seems to be the dampening action that has gained some slack in the system. I too wish I could fix this.

only options is the replace the hinges, or LCD cover assembly. The hinges are not servicable.
