Finding 700m battery

The weirdest thing- At every site I've been to looking for a battery, the 700m is not among the list of inspirons (except dell's, but I'm hoping to get a better deal). Does it use the same battery as the 600m? Maybe its in the 7000 series. Anyone know?

The 700M and 600m use different batteries. I don't if there are any after market batteries available for the 700m and they certainly aren't cheap through Dell.

Neophyte,

I've got a 4-cell and 8-cell battery for the 700M for sale. Both are brand new. The 4-cell came with a 700M and was only used once to confirm functionality. The 8-cell is still in a sealed box. PM me if you're interested.

authentic brand new made-by-dell 700m 8cell battery for sale.

for 160 us dollars. The seller, which is me, will pay for the shipping to anywhere in the states. check my thread for details.

Check ebay. 8 cells are going for around $100-$110 shipped, 4 cells for about $80.

I'm not sure I'm actually ready to buy. I'm feeling pretty poor right now...

I still have a few $100 Dell concession coupons. I'm waiting for them to have a 25% (or more) discount, which I can then stack with the concession coupon, and get the 8-cell for $50 or so, or the 4-cell for $20 or so.

Hey folks i made an update to my 8cell battery sale. after a bit of researching, i realized that 160 U.S dollars is wayyyyy too much. i've adjusted it now to 110 U.S dollars and i will still take care of the shipping. if anyone is interested, let me know.
