64 bit chips from Intel and 64 bit software from Microsoft and dual core M CPU's

Will it be wise to hold off purchasing a laptop ( Dell XP2 ) since dual core 64 bit M processers are supposed to be out at the end of this year!!! I know that if their is no 64 bit games coming for 2 yrs then it doesn't matter...i like gaming on a laptop at LAN parties!
Will all of you at this forum who might have knowledge on this...

The end of the year... mabye. I doubt it. They may have the first implemenation of them, but not necesarily at a _resonable_ price. It would be pretty fricking sweet though... dual 64-bit PMs... *drools*.

Dual core Pentium M won't come this year, but early next year. And they won't offer 64-bit support AFAIK. If you want a dual core 64-bit mobile CPU, then wait for AMDs "Taylor" coming out in 2006.
