on the AW dexription page for the 7700 the Nvidia symbol next tot he ATI symbol say 6800 Ultra? So if someone orders a 7700 and it doesnt have an Ultra woudl that be false advertising?

I noticed that label too... "GeForce 6800 Ultra"

I was thinking 7700 may soon have it but does it require a Pentium M processor?

lol no, it dosent it actually can be put in a 9860 u just gonna need some extra cooling w/ those pentium 4 and that the card needs to be shrunken to a small size, also producing more heat.

and i just think they're doing that for more sales most likey but there could be researching it..

No, it does not require a Pentium M. However, it would require a boosted power supply and boosted cooling.

Yeah, Alienware used the wrong logo.
The logo for the GeForce Go 6800 Ultra is this:

The logo for the regular GeForce Go 6800 is this:

But instead, Alienware used this, which is the logo for the desktop Ultra board:

So, in a way, it is false advertising. But it was probably done inadvertently.

yea i noticed that ultra word too but i called them to confirm and they said they're still researching on its compatibility with the 7700. if more powerful cards such as the 6800 ultra would require a power boost and extra fans, then wouldn't that mean a bigger chassis for the 7700? if that is so, what is next gen graphic cards come out, e.g. nvidia geforce go 7xxx series, they would definitely consume more power right? so does that mean the 7700 will be modified again? or are 7700 owners stuck with 6800 cards max?

Hard to say. More power does not automatically mean bigger chassis.
