Hey, im looking at ordering an xps just getting the specs finialized... anyways if i was to get 512 ram from dell 256x2 and then buy a 1 gig stick giving me 1280 mb it would run just as fast as having to matching stick using dual channel since the cpu only has 533 mhz fsb.... am i right in thinking this or will 2x512 run faster since both ram slots are the same???
