Simple matter to verify: loosen the two screws in the 'M' panel in the center of the underside (unit unplugged/battery out :P) the panel will pop out and you'll see both slots populated.
I ordered two of the following from newegg:
Transcend 200-Pin 512MB DDR2 SODIMM PC2-4200, Model TS64MSQ64V5J - Retail
Item # N82E16820208017
Type: 200-Pin DDR2 SODIMM
Error Checking: Non-ECC
Cas Latency: 4
Support Voltage: 1.8V
Organization: 64M x 64-Bit
I haven't seen any hard-ruling that we'd see any benefit from CAS 3, so I ordered CAS 4. Paid $103 each.
Came yesterday, 5minutes to pop them in. Works fine. I also ran the boot/F12/Dell Diagnostics/Memory tests. Passed them without issues. I'll probably try out the test above, just to be 100%.
