Need a notebook recommendation

I am planning on purchasing a new notebook.

My previous experience with HP notebooks were awful!

What i'm looking for in a notebook is long battery life, runs cool, under 6lbs and built to last long. If anyone who owns a flawless notebook and had no particular problems! Your recommendations are greatly appreciated!

the notebook i have is almost flawless, it only has 64MB vram but other than that, its hella quick even with the 64mb vram, and its cheap!, the reason why i got the asus over every other notebook including the compal was because it had 4x usb, 4in1 card reader (instead of only sd) audio DJ, wlan and touch pad enable/disable buttons, and its sexy looking
