Like I am (was?) I suggest you scan a few sites like this,I've seen more sites..I guess all computer manufacturers get complaints but there really does seem to be something special about Dell.

That's enough...any search engine will give you a slew of results. I thought I was the only one who found the sales team rude, pushy and aggressive. I have zero trust in the company now.Their computers seem to go wrong so much that they can give big warranties because they just give everyone each other's 'refurbished' parts...it's musical chairs for electronic parts.

I don't agree!

After looking through your previous posts, you have done nothing but bash DELL.
Alienware however seems to be to your liking. Go back to the hole you crawled out of.

That's funny, the AW people said I was a Dell 'troll'...... really,i'm just after the best computer and service not to belong to any little gang.I have pointed out frequently that I think AW is overpriced...When you reach your mid twenties these things become more important (especially when it's your money)

this is why Dell's support gets decent ratings

i guess if you gonna buy and want good support, you should buy from their small business section?
You find more complains about dell because more people buy from dell. It's only natural. On the other hand, look at apple whose market isn't as large. I hear lots of stories of imacs going quickly bad or Ipods having weird defects.

^^ what he said.

wow, you do know you have 6 posts back to back. lol

to this day and after 20+ dell laptops I have yet to encounter a problem (knocks on wood) Long term, I have no comment, but its been about 4 months with my 700m and its still going strong!

Doom, you should check out this site: http://www.ihatedell.org/

Fortunately, I have not had problems with Dell Canada or Dell India, yet.

Gee all anyone has to do is read this forum (the whole forum, not just the Dell section) to find out which notebook "maker" has the worst ratio of satisfied customers to disastisfied customers. Dell sells more computers than any other company in the world, but a wide margin. But please keep up the good work Groupie. Your next task is to go to each of the other forums and do the same thing. Please look all over the web for only negative ratings for each notebook "maker" and create a thread like this one, where you post a single link in multiple posts one after another. Don't forget the final one where you say "...I'm not trying to say anything either way...".

This is true only if you buy(notice i said BUY) gold support. If you dont, you'll go to India also. Ive delt with Dell so long for business and have learned the lesson.. YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU GET. If you want cheap, they got it. for $200.00 mor you usualy can get 3yr gold support...
