Why is Space Black available in the UK but not the US?

I discovered this today. I have been waiting to order a Sentia for Space Black to become available again. Also, the US site only offers Saucer Silver and says it can delay your order; there is no such stricture on the UK site.


Can someone from AW explain this? Given that the AW facility is in the US it seems illogical.

Not sure on why the color is offered in the U.K but not here in the states.Reminds me to post a warning here regarding purchasing "Alienware" laptops from ebay,especially European countries,theres a huge scam involving counterfeit products at ridiculously low prices.

Per AW the answer is simple, and is what Habesa stated.

AW UK fulfills Sentia orders through their Ireland facility, and that facility still has Space Black. The USA facility is short of cases overall (and Space Black in particular), hence the difference.

Kudos to Juan-G for the fast and informative response.
