when is the expected shipping date if you set the video card to 6800?

Where is the XP MCE?
Heh fully configured similar to my XPS 2 I got a price of $2783 which is slightly under what I paid. Then again this is without rebates and the XPS 2 without rebates was $3700 so if they gave even a $200 rebate on this thing it would be a pretty decent deal for those that don't want something as heavy/flashy/expensive as the XPS 2.
I priced one like my XPS Gen 2 and I could have saved around $400 with the 9300. Not worth it in my opionion. I think I only priced it with 515 Meg ram and the XPS has a gig of ram.

Priced like my XPS only saved $200

XP MCE not a selectable option, and neither was it on the XPS at AAFES. Also on the XPS 1 gig was the lowest ram setting.
oh ok. I honestly do not know what aafes is but it must be like small business or something...
Interesting that the 60GB 7200rpm and 100GB drives cost the same. Is the 100GB at least 5400rpm?? Any coupons?

Is anyone else pissed off?

This really stinks. Dell releases the XPS gen 2 ONE WEEK EARLIER than the 9300, and its shipping date is at least 2 to 3 weeks longer. I know this is probably because of the Ultra card, but it peeves me that they have a "hurry up and get it released, but make them wait" attitude!!! I am paying them 3k for the best current laptop on the market (that is not going to be made for over a month). In my opinion, they should have reversed the release dates. (And to think one on the reasons I didn't order a Sager or Alienware was because of the wait time.)

I am still keeping my order of the XPS 2 system, but Dell can kiss my for making us wait so long to get it!

I have to agree with you here (except for the part with Sager and AW). It's rather annoying to have to wait a month to get my product while something coming out afterwards is available sooner. I'm a consumer; I'm oblivious to what's going on behind the scenes and want my merchandise fast.

I'm still glad they released the XPS 2 first because otherwise I might have ordered a i9300 and now regretted it. Besides they might speed up the xps 2 delivery date, I think April 11 is being very very cautious.

I sure hope so, I really hope it ships in the next couple weeks. I've been needing a notebook for awhile and am thinking about ordering the 9300 instead of the xps2 I have on order. I hate to do that because there is only about $250 difference for sim. configs, but I do need one asap

I am too, but I have a strange feeling that we really won't get it until the 11th of April.
