Dell Inspiron 9300 Review! - Page 2

The 700m and 9300 aren't even in the same ballpark in terms of comparison. It would be the equivalent of me comparing a Kia (700m) to a Porsche Carrera GT (9300/XPS2)

I'm planning on buying either one in the next couple weeks.
That's a bit like saying, other than size and weight, what are the differences between an elephant and a mouse?...
...For a start, (1) the 9300 has a dedicated graphics card, the 700m has a system-memory-sharing graphics card (2) the 700m has a keyboard that has smaller keys and less travel. (3) the 700m does not have screen options other than the WXGA.
Other than size (everything, but especially the screen) and weight, for office programs both will run them without problems: fast. They look similar (ignoring size). Part of the new Inspiron range, along with the 6000.

Ok, thanks. Sorry, I'm still kinda new to laptops, it will be my first laptop purchase ever. I think I'm gonna stick with the 700m, only because it still performs really good, and is compact, light and ultra portable. Who knows, I might change my mind, cause the 9300 looks awesome. My only reason to switch to the 9300 would be for the bigger screen and more screen options, plus bigger keyboard, other than that, I don't care about games. I guess the dedicated graphics would be nicer though,
