What kind of office chair do you have?? Any high ends?

I thought the general board was losing its pazazz so I started this thread...lol, actually, I am currently waiting for my new office chair, a Humanscale Freedom Chair. Its a 4-6 week wait (in week 2.5), and I was wondering if anyone else has paid that much for an office chair. Im having some buyers remorse because of the price but I feel once I get it all that will change. People overlook chairs, but besides the desk, they are the most important thing in the setup. So what kind of chair do you use?

It was more than I should have spent on a chair. The freedom chair can be configured up to $2000 with the leather option, I configured one at $1099. I first saw the chair at some other forums where a member posted his setup and there it was...just beautiful. Since i've started sitting at a desk i've always used Staples/sams club chairs which worked fine but I decided to splurge. No one in here uses like a Herman Miller Aeron or something of the kind? Dont make me start a 'post your chair' in the photo forum!

Yes, Astu can build one with dual seats and watercooling much cheaper than you can buy online.

the sad part is that i think a lot of people have seriously considered trying it.

wow, you know of course you will have to post a review of this nice chair...for that kind of money it would definitely have to give me a "Happy Ending" =P

If you think seriously about the importance of a comfortable chair then the price might not be as hard to take..you spend hours in it and it is a pain in the ass in many ways if your not comfortable...it probably is a very good investment

No kidding, you spend a LOT of time in your office chair, it needs to be supportive. I will post some pictures of it, I just hope I like it. They have 5 different fabrics to choose from and like 10 colors for each fabric, I had to choose without seeing them in person so I have no idea what kind of fabric im getting. What kind of chair do you have 411?

My chair was $65.00 from IKEA.

I got mine from OfficeMax for around 120$...I have grown accustomed to sitting in the most uncomfortable chairs all day long during class, so I guess I don't need anything special.

Twopiece your sig always cracks me up...his face after he slaps him/her...gets me everytime

Hell yeah, me too. I cant get enough of it, I wind up watching it for 10 min each time. I used to think that the $250 chairs at staples were made for God, I never thought they had chairs above that.
