Its sounds nice, although it's on the heavy side for my likin'. This laptop is just the answer if you're not gonna move it around a lot. The 17" screen is ideal for gaming and watching movies and playing games, The graphics are decent but it's only 64MB so it may struggle with higher resolutions. The pentium 4 processor might get a bit heated during use but its quite powerful enough to handle anyhting thrown at it. The best thing about this one IMO is the price you're paying ($2200), thats amazing considering a similar offering from Sony or Toshiba won't be as easy on the pocket.

This is my first post. I was thinking getting one for a desktop replacement. Base price in T.O. is $2045 Cdn. Upgrading to 128MB video, 540 processor and 2G of memory would be expensive but worth it. The only draw back is in the service, as PY162 (Nov 2004) or non factory upgrades as ZZTOP77 (12 10 2004).

P4 processors run a little too hot for my liking in notebooks. You would be better looking at the 8100 series

I got a 1801, it's a nice laptop

(In Europe it's a 128mb videocard but only 512mb ram)
