I am in love.

Today I spoke to a very amiable young customer care representative from Phillipines. I had originally called to ask about my system exchange, but she was so nice and had such a sexy voice with the cutest accent that eventually I completed stopped worrying about the issues that I had called for. I actually plan on going to Phillipines next summer so when I found out that she was located there, I got the urge to actually meet her in person when I go visit the area. When she asked for my information for security confirmation, at the end, I added "well, I'm also 5''10, medium build, with brown eyes..:" she laughed and said that I was cute. She laughed to all of my jokes and she obviously knew that I was heavily flirting with her. She sounded young and sounded somewhat around my age. She asked me how old I was and so I told her that I was 21 turning 22, and to my surprise she told me she's only 20 and just graduated from a school in Manilla! When she was done taking care of my issues and asked me if there was anything els she can assist me with, naturally I asked her for her email address where I can contact her to discuss about the computer matters, and that I would love to take her out to a dinner when I go visit Phillipines.

giggling at the same time, she kindly informed me that the conversation was being monitored and that reps aren't allowed to give out email addresses. So sadly, we hung up and something that could have been very special died out.

But the story doesn't end here! she sent me an email afterwards from what looks to be a dell's email account(not her own) that all the reps use to contact their customers, and at the end of it, she wrote her name and her rep ID #!

I know that most of you are thinking that I dont even know if she's even pretty. I've seen many beautiful Phillipina girls and it won't hurt to have another friend I can go visit when I'm there.

:edit:
so with this rep ID #, what should I do guys? advice on how to contact her is needed. I have a feeling that if I just called the customer care department and request to connect me her, #1. they won't allow it. or #2. the other reps themselves might not have the necessary information because they are in another country!

Your better off leaving this one alone. But as our times will tell then "foolish lonely white man do anything". So here's the most likely turnout for you.

2005 - you meet this dell "beauty" and she woos you into falling for her once she checks your back pocket to make sure your passport is legit

2006 - overseas flirting results in a high phone bill and a deep appreciation for such a polite and flirtatious girl. i mean, how can a girl who loves her family so much be anything but perfect?. she gets you to marry her but makes you believe its your idea.

2007 - shes back in the states with you and gets a job as a nurse. phone bills are alarmingly high because she calls home 6 times a week for lengthy conversations in a seperate room even though its a language you dont understand. you get nagged for not spending enough time with her even though she spends most of her free time on the phone.

2008 - most of the day she spends shopping for new louis vuitton purses and hanging out with philipino girls. phone bill soars. she rarely talks to you except about getting her mother and 2 aunts to visit. she gets knocked up and says how she needs her mother to move in... for the baby.

2009 - mother lives with you, 2 aunts and 4 cousins rotate in visiting. you spend most of your time alone, and when you do go out with her then its usually to a party thats all filipino except for a few white guys who sit on the couch asking "is that pancit?" and "yeah. i work in computers. how did you know."

2010 - she is a shadow of the cute girl you met on the phone 5 years ago so you spend 90% of your non-working day online chatting with cute white girls...ironically on a dell computer. you wish you used macs.

Well, thats the story of at least a dozen white guys that i know who married a cute filipina girl who turned into a monster once they got their citizenship.

have fun.

Filipinos are very warm, kind and hospitable. But MOST MOST of Filipinas are also "strictly" one-man-woman so if that Filipina already has a boyfriend better luck next time dude. But still GIVE IT A TRY|}{

HAHAHAHA!!!!

'Cough' VISA 'COUGH'

Maybe the 13th white guy won't have the same problem...

This is also VERY true. That's why it is NEVER always on the looks. Never base anything entirely on looks. But also if you are smart enough you wont experience any of these things monkeybutler is talking about.

What was in the email? I'd reply back with something related like a further question that must be answered. Make it real in case if someone else ends up having to review the email, but also try to phrase the question so that it requires her and not someone else to anwer it like "What was it you told me to do when the computer does x?" or some other referal to the verbal conversation you had that can't be derived from your email.

LOL but this is true for any 3rd world country. If some guy from the US shows interest they will hitch up with him for a green card no matter how ugly he is.

So true. Girls go for two things: money and money. In this case its the prospect of a better future in a rich and very opportune country. So i would be careful.

Yes, there are alot of bad stories, but usually those are the only stories we hear (positive things are rarely published). I have a friend who also met and married a wonderful filipina girl. Just because you are going to meet her, doesn't mean you are going to marry her. But what if she is everything you hoped? What if this is the one? You owe it to yourself to at least take this down the road at bit or you may regret it for the rest of your life (or until you are lucky enough to meet another wonderful women). I know we love our 'business tools' (LOL), but it's nothing compared to being married to and enjoying the companionship of a wonderful women.

True, but you missed the most important point. 3rd world country girls are after Money, Money and Family. And you have to remember that "family" in other cultures is different from "family" in america.

American "Family" - husband, wife and the kids. Your parents/brother you see on holidays and talk on the phone with once a month but the focus is on the household.

3rd World Country "Family" - Their mom, their 6 brothers and 2 sisters, their 3 aunts, grandma, great grandma and their work friends.

Notice how husbands didnt make the list. Thats because they arent important. A mans job is to support the woman and ensure she has everything she wants. And a womans job is to take care of her idea of family by making sure the kids are dressed better than their classmates, their mothers and aunts have prada handbags and their husband is fed with the tastes of their homeland. every...single...meal...of...their...life.

Ive seen it so much that people like the OP make me laugh. Most american suckers who marry girls like this are usually insecure guys who cant get dates on their own. So they latch onto the idea that they are somehow "rescuing" these helpless girls from poverty and giving them a taste of freedom. But in reality these "poor girls" are raised to latch onto the first greencard that flashes by them. And thats where you come in...

if youre thinking of hooking up with another culture then bookmark this thread. it will be a good read when youre sitting alone in the den while your wife and her family are out filling up your credit cards.
