I saw it in the restroom of a Mexican restaurant. I like it because it uses the reflexive case. The literal translation is "the hands wash themselves."

Thought I give in my quick 2 cents on relationships. Interracial relationships can be tough.
I can only speak if one party is asian. My wife's Chinese-american with an orthodox Chinese
family and I'm just a white boy from Brooklyn. It took a long time for her family to accept me and
my side of the family because her other three sisters married other asians.

Csware, from you're story I'm guessing you're at least partially Philipino and that's why she was
intrigued.

Filipinas get excited when "foreigners" flirt with them. And to tell you frankly,,, in the Philippines, students who study will LESS likely to work because they are still very dependent to their parents (until the age of 25+) unlike here in the States. Also, there are (almost) NO entry-level job there. most of the employed workers are old so i'm also guessing that THAT Filipina is already on her late 20's. She just have cute girly voice with cute girly accent.

relax, im filipino-american. im only warning people from experience. i had to go to these parties alot when i was younger so my stories of the uncomfortable white guy in the corner are based on real life.

and yes. as an american born 2nd generation filipino then i do have a problem with non-whites coming to the country and taking jobs and benefits away from americans. im sorry i dont share your view on open borders to anyone with a desire to milk the system. but thats another subject all together.

my family waited 8 years to get in because they followed the rules. and they worked from day 1 contributing to this system. if you take a look at any current stats then theres a huge proportion of immigrants that come in and rely on the system to support them. you should be concerned that your tax money and retirement money is going to people who contribute almost nothing to our needs as a country.

political-correctness is the worst thing that ever happened to this country. look at all the people that suddenly believe that defending the rights of immigrants takes priority over protecting the rights of US citizens.
