Delivery date: 3/8/05

I really like the reviews here (both the bad and the good).
Glad to see I'm not the only one who goes "goo-goo-gaa-gaa" for his system to arrive.

It's here!!!

Well I don't know how to post pix here, but man it looks sweet.

So far I've loaded MS office, NAV 8.0, MS Anti-spyware, etc...

I also don't know how to bench mark, so the only review I can give you is with Sony's Planetside. In zerg battles I get 80fps with default settings. My kill count came way up.

Over all I am very happy with the system. It's big and nicely pachaged.

Well have to play now, if you have any questions or suggestions for becnhmarking please post

My alienware is due later today.....I happen to be working tonight....well, not working...but at work staring at the fed ex tracking screen. The 5lb pound box is only 20 mins away and the 70lb box is 2.5 hours away geographically. I'll get home around 7am.....so that means...i'm going to stay awake for the next 36 hours.....I DO NOT want to miss this shipment....the things we do for alienware.

haha nice, my AW is due to arrive today as well, I can't sleep b/c I'm too excited w. anticipation...I took the night off of work just so I can spend the entire day setting everything up...but the crappy thing is...my stupid DSL modem still hasn't arrived yet, which means no online fragging till it gets here...

I've been "sharking" my neighbors wireless for the past week and half...btw Fed ex does ship on saturdays right? Also anyone know where the cheapest place they are selling HL2?

I was wonderin the same thing, its probably the messenger bag, and i ordered the xl back pack, so mayb thats wut in it... fed ex does ship on saturdays but i doubt u'll git urs Saturday, since our orders both shipped on Thursday, but then again i live in New Jersey, n e ways let me kno when u git it.

I get a messenger bag? I'm not sure what it's in the 5lb box either. Alienware uses FED Ex Home delivery which does ship on saturday....hours of delivery are 9am to 8pm.

I don't think it's a messenger back...i have a aurora 7500 coming...full desktop. as far as half life 2...you could always try EBAY...but i wouldn't. newegg has a import retail box for 37 and the "normal" retail for 46....i'm not sure how much steam is.

I kno 4 sure u git a free messenger carryin case. But im also gittin a 30lb box which is obviously the lappy, n a 5lb box, which has to contain my backpack n half life 2 n the free messenger case, cant think of wut else would b in the 5lb
