I'm putting in a new mr9800 and would like to use the following images.

http://www.ati.com/designpartners/me...R9800_h_lg.jpg
http://www.ati.com/designpartners/me..._double_lg.jpg

I was thinking of using the chip logo on the left side of the screen, and the having the logo layered on the chip pic. I know that i'm not explaining this very well. If I could just figure out how to layer/combine 2 different pics in photoshop, I could mess around with this myself.

msdille, I'll try to do a nice wallpaper.....I'll post it when done! =)

Create a new document
Open those two files
Drag them into the new document
You'll have 3 layers, the background + the 2 layers for the new images.
Mess around with the Blending Mode (drop down box on the top right of the Layers Pallette) on them to get them to merge correctly.

While your at could you teach me how to take a title and place in the spine of a DVD cover, I have the spines but I can't firgure that 502 page manual out to where ai can do what I am asking.T.I.A.

I have the Paintshop Version 9 upgraded to 9.01.1, when I got this new laptop I-8600 C or D, I installed it with the disc and a upgrade was waiting.

I was thinking of something kind of like this http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-...-wallpaper.jpg unfortunatly I cannot seem to layer these photos. It keeps cutting the ATI icon off. Maybe a nice chrome, silver, or gun metal colored background? I don't know, lets see what you guys can come up with. Thanks again

If I like the picture enough, I have a friend who would make a sticker for me. I was hoping to place it on the cover of my lappy. These 9100's are starting to look way to pain to me.

I was actually just thinking that the ATI logo would be on top of the chips, but if you can make a transparent one look cool i'll take that. Not to put any pressure on you, but how about one of each?

Got 2 right now, working on a third. Cannot post them, though, so I'll send them to you and if you see anything you like - get an idea for a layout or something - let me know and we'll work on it. Hope you see something you wan't! =)

Thanks for the ideas guys. I don't know if it's exactly what I was looking for though. My friend is by coincidence taking a photoshop class, and says that he was looking for a good first project. I gave him some rough sketches, and he said he will try to work on it when he has time. I'll post what we come up with when finished.
